# DNC lists

> Add numbers to your workspace-wide do-not-call list so no campaign, now or later, is ever allowed to dial them.

Get2Dial checks every outbound number against your workspace's do-not-call list before
dialing. A number on this list is never dialed by any campaign in your workspace.

## Before you start

None. DNC entries apply immediately and workspace-wide.

## Steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Go to Global DNC">
    In the left navigation, select **Global DNC**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add a number">
    Select **Add**, enter the **Phone Number**, and optionally a **Reason**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Select **Save**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  This list is workspace-wide and legal-opt-out in nature — a number here is suppressed
  across every campaign and is closed wherever it's currently queued. To exclude a lead from
  one campaign without adding it to this list, use that lead's own **Exclude**
  control inside the campaign's lead list instead — see [Lead fields](/outbound/leads/lead-fields).
</Note>

## Verify

<Check>
  The number appears in **Global DNC**. Any lead in any campaign matching that number moves
  to a closed state and is not dialed again.
</Check>

## Common problems

* **You need to add many numbers at once.** There's no bulk import — each number is added
  individually.
* **A number is still being dialed.** Confirm it's formatted the same way it appears in your
  lead list — check for a missing country code or extra characters.
