# Schedule a report

> Get a summary of a standard report emailed automatically, weekly or monthly, instead of checking it yourself.

Get a summary of a standard report emailed automatically, weekly or monthly, instead of
checking it yourself.

## Before you start

* You need an **admin** role.
* Your workspace needs outbound email delivery configured, and the **Scheduled reports**
  notification category turned on in your email settings — a schedule alone doesn't send
  anything if either is off.

## Steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Go to Report schedules">
    Select your name, then **Settings**, then **Report schedules**, then **New schedule**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the report">
    Select which [standard report](/reports/standard-reports) to send — Campaigns, Agents,
    Call volume, Compliance, or Dispositions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the cadence">
    Choose **Weekly** and a day of the week, or **Monthly** and a day of the month (1–28).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the send time">
    Enter the **Hour** to send, in **UTC** — not your workspace's local time zone.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add recipients">
    Enter one or more email addresses. Recipients are exact email addresses you type in, not a
    picker of workspace users.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Confirm **Enabled** is on, then select **Save**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Verify

<Check>
  Each recipient receives an email at the scheduled time containing a short summary — four
  headline metrics — and a link back to the live report in Get2Dial.
</Check>

## Common problems

* **No email arrives.** Confirm **Scheduled reports** is turned on in your workspace's email
  notification settings, and that your outbound email delivery itself is configured.
* **It sent at the wrong time.** The hour you set is UTC, not your local time zone — convert
  before entering it.
* **A recipient isn't in the list of workspace users.** That's expected — recipients are plain
  email addresses, not tied to a Get2Dial account.
