Create an account for a new team member and give them the role that matches their job.

Before you start

  • You need an admin role yourself to create other users.
  • Decide the person’s role before you start — see Roles and permissions.

Steps

1

Go to Users

In the left navigation, select Users.
2

Start a new user

Select Add user.
3

Enter their details

Enter their Email, a Password of at least 8 characters, and a Display name. If they’ll take calls, enter a SIP extension for their softphone.
4

Assign a role

Choose Admin, Supervisor, or Agent. You can narrow or extend what they can see and do afterward — see Roles and permissions.
5

Save the user

Select Save. Share the email and password with them directly — Get2Dial does not send a set-password link. If your workspace has email notifications turned on, they also receive an email with the sign-in URL.

Verify

The new user appears in Users with the role you assigned, and they can sign in with the email and password you set.

Common problems

  • They can’t sign in. Confirm you typed the email correctly — it can’t be changed after the account is created. Double-check the password you shared matches exactly.
  • They didn’t get a notification email. Email notifications are off by default per workspace. Share the sign-in URL and password directly instead of relying on email.
  • They can’t see a screen they need. Their role’s default capabilities might not cover it — see Roles and permissions to grant it individually.
