Upload an audio file once and reuse it wherever Get2Dial plays audio — IVR greetings today, with more consumers on the way.

Before you start

  • You need an admin or supervisor role to upload. Anyone can browse and preview.
  • Prepare a WAV, MP3, OGG, or G.722 file no larger than 50 MB — see Limits and quotas.

Steps

1

Go to Audio library

In the left navigation, select Audio library, then select Upload.
2

Choose your file

Select your audio file from your computer.
3

Categorize it

Enter a Name and choose a Category so it’s easy to find later.
4

Save

Select Upload. Get2Dial deduplicates identical files automatically, so uploading the same file twice doesn’t create two copies.

Verify

The file appears in Audio library and plays back from the preview control.
Today, IVR menus can select a greeting from the library, and campaigns can select answering-machine voicemail-drop audio from it. Queue hold music and voicemail box greetings store a library reference in the data model, but the product doesn’t yet expose a picker for either — you can’t attach a custom track to them from the UI today.

Common problems

  • Your file won’t upload. Confirm it’s under 50 MB and in a supported format (WAV, MP3, OGG, or G.722).
  • You’re trying to set a queue’s hold music or a voicemail greeting. Not available from the product today — see the note above.
