Before you start
- You need an admin role in both Get2Dial and Salesforce, to authorize the connection.
Steps
1
Go to Integrations
Select your name, then Settings, then Integrations.
2
Connect Salesforce
Select Connect on the Salesforce card. You’re redirected to Salesforce to sign in and
authorize Get2Dial.
3
Confirm the connection
You’re returned to Get2Dial, and the card shows Connected.
Verify
Place or receive a call for a phone number that matches a Salesforce contact or lead. A new
Task appears on that record in Salesforce shortly after the call ends, with the
direction, duration, and outcome.
Get2Dial can also send click-to-call and screen-pop events to a Salesforce Open CTI panel,
but there’s no supported, installable adapter for it yet — what’s shipped today is the
connection and automatic activity logging above.
Common problems
- No Task appears after a call. Confirm the phone number matches a Contact or Lead in Salesforce exactly — matching is by phone number, not by name.
- The connection shows disconnected. Salesforce access tokens can be revoked from the Salesforce side (for example, by a Salesforce admin). Reconnect from Integrations.
