Change your own display name, time zone, and password, or, as an administrator, update another user’s display name or SIP extension.

Before you start

  • To update someone else’s profile, you need an admin role. Any user can update their own.
  • Email address can’t be changed by you or an administrator once the account is created.

Update your own profile

1

Open your settings

Select your name, then Settings.
2

Update your details

In Profile & timezone, change your Display name or Timezone. Your timezone controls how timestamps render for you across the app — it doesn’t change any campaign’s calling hours, which run in each lead’s own time zone. See Calling hours.
3

Save

Select Save.
4

Change your password, if needed

In Password & security, enter your current password and a new one. You’ll need your current password to confirm the change.

Update another user’s profile (administrators)

1

Go to Users

In the left navigation, select Users, then select the person.
2

Update their details

Change their Display name or SIP extension. To change their role or capabilities, see Roles and permissions instead.
3

Save

Select Save.

Verify

The updated display name appears immediately in the top navigation (for your own profile) or in the Users list (for another user’s).

Common problems

  • You need to change someone’s email. Not supported today — the account must be recreated.
  • A user forgot their password. There’s no self-service reset. An administrator resets it from Users — see Sign in.
